OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD: Plurk (
batmanschmatman) or PM is fine!
•THREAD-JACKING: The occassional threadjack is fine, but if it's getting overly long, I'd appreciate it moving somewhere else.
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: I would prefer no canon puncture or fourth walling for The Good Place, but mistaking Michael for other Ted Danson roles is totally fine.
•BACKTAGGING: Of course!
•AVOIDED TOPICS: Not super into descriptions of vampires drinking people's blood or plots involving sexual assault.
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her/etc.
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Season 2, Episode 3, "Dance Dance Resolution" - Because Michael is difficult to kill, it's going to require a bit of an AU to get the Admiral involved. While rebooting the neighborhood (ultimately 802 times), let's say Shawn gets wind of Michael going behind his back, pulls him from the neighborhood and is in the process of retiring him when the Admiral offers to bring him on board as an inmate.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Michael's human suit is a white, human male who's somewhere in his late 60's/early 70's. He stands about 6'2", has white hair, blue eyes, impressive bone structure, and wears glasses. He generally dresses in colorful but very tasteful suits and bow ties. It's very Tim Gunn/snappy college professor. He's got an American accent.
•DEMEANOR: Snappy, sarcastic, dismissive, patronizing. Or excitable, polite and friendly when he's not feeling petty, bitter, or threatened.
•ABILITIES: Michael is an Eternal Being, which means he's essentially immortal. He doesn't bleed, need to eat (although he can for fun), sleep, or use the bathroom. On the Barge, he's restricted to his human form, but he can see in nine dimensions, read and process information at a superhuman pace, and quickly draw incredibly detailed pictures.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: God, I don't even know. Michael likely won't need the infirmary because he can't really get injured or sick the same way a human would, but he likely seems pretty weird if there's ever a reason to give him a CT scan or something similar.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Michael's cabin is just his office in his neighborhood. There's a large desk, with chairs on both sides, a small shrine to Doug Forcett, and a small collection of human artifacts he's collected over the years, including a bowl of paperclips. There is no bed as Michael doesn't need to sleep.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Literally nothing, Michael has been there, done that.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: More passive/communicative things like speaking telepathically or picking up on Michael's emotions are fine, but anything more manipulate-y I'd like a head's up!
•MIMICRY: Yes, although if it's going to be for nefarious purposes, let me know first!
•VIOLENCE: Absolutely! But we should probs discuss first before it gets out of control.
•MAGIC: Again, as long as it's nothing unexpectedly violent, definitely!
•DEBATE: Of course!
•OTHER / NOTES: I'm pretty flexible about most things, but just like communication about any plots that are about to get crazy and violent.
